Iowa Business Professionals of America (BPA), Iowa DECA, and Iowa Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) are joining together for a United Fall Leadership Conference in Des Moines October 21-22, 2018. This conference involves Iowa secondary and post-secondary business student members of these Career and Technical Student Organizations. The purpose of this educational conference is developing student leadership skills for future business and industry careers.
This is the third time that these organizations have joined for a fall leadership conference. The missions of the organizations are as follows: Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of global professionals through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills; DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe; and FBLA-PBL inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. These organizations have all celebrated over 50 years of preparing students for their future careers.
